ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Julie Alley. I am married to my best friend. We have six amazing, messy, exhausting, absolutely wonderful kids. I started my photographic journey at an early age. I would buy disposable cameras for my summer trips to my grandparents house and take photos of my baby cousins. I ended up on the yearbook staff my senior year of high school, then got my BFA in Studio Art from Florida State University. I got my hands dirty in printmaking and drawing, and took every photo class available. I treat each photo session as it’s own thing. I don’t worry about curating a body of photos that all look exactly the same, I don’t edit my photos to look fake, and I try not to stage too much. I tolerate social media and self promotion. I want to be authentic. Here I am. I don’t turn down any work that is creative work. I would love to work with you.
